We all have that one friend or relative who completely lacks a moral compass, the one whose screw-ups become the centerpiece of family gatherings. That brother who leaves chaos behind, conning his way through life with reckless abandon—yet, we can’t help but envy him. One September night in Stockholm, Johan, William, and Anna reunite after years apart. Their youngest brother, Fredde, has mysteriously disappeared on a beach in Gibraltar. As they drink, they share stories of “Fredde the Tactless” and his many schemes. Perhaps it’s for the best that he’s gone—after all, they might not be entirely innocent themselves.
